Richard Austin will be opening a new photographic studio on the premises of Sandy Balls Holiday Centre in the New Forest.
The studio will be open to the general public and to Sandy Balls holiday residents. Richard believes the opportunity for families to attend a portrait session whilst all together on holiday is too good to miss. For many families it may be one of only a few times in a year when they are all together.
Richard has a 4 year-old son and an 18-month-old daughter and he is very comfortable working with children of all ages. He aims for a fun, happy portrait experience and is confident he always achieves pictures that make families leave feeling warm and excited.
The portrait sessions last around one and a half hours with families choosing their pictures and framing options at the end of the session. Richard uses state of the art technology to display the pictures on his laptop as he is shooting in the studio. This helps families to quickly eliminate pictures and create a shortlist from which to choose their products. All products are posted to families within 4 to 5 weeks of the portrait session.
Richard offers a selection of traditional style frames in addition to canvas prints and acrylic prints. Richard has been very fortunate in finding a local framing company who provide fine art framing for artists around the world. The canvas prints are of the highest quality. After printing, the canvas is then lacquered giving it great durability and it can even be wiped clean. Each canvas is backed with board to add to the weight, strength and quality. Acrylic prints are growing in popularity, the modern stylish look of these products make it easy to see why. They can be displayed anywhere (including outside) and make a striking addition to any home.
