Baby Monitors

Baby monitors allow parents to leave a child asleep in their room and still be able to monitor for any signs of distress. A standard monitor checks for sound only, there are also monitors available to check for movement and some provide a live video feedback.

Things to consider when purchasing a monitor -

Do you require a movement monitor?
Some monitors have a sensor that is placed in the cot that checks your child is moving, an audible alarm will be sounded if your baby is not moving.

Do you require a temperature warning? Some monitors will also monitor your babies room tempearture, an audible and/or visual sign may be given if the room is too hot or cold.
