University Clearing

As A level results day looms, join Clearing Expert Christine Marchant and Student Jason Morrison as they offer advice on how to navigate the UK's university Clearing system.

From Thursday 16th August students across the country will have to make a decision that may impact the rest of their lives, as A Level results are released to the nation.

Around 30,000 students who have not made the grade to get into either of their UCAS choices, or who were late applicants, will have to go through Clearing; a system that lists all available university spaces. But exactly how does it work and what are your entitlements? A recent poll commissioned by Thames Valley University found that two-thirds of students weren't confident they knew how clearing worked and 44% of students had no idea at all.

With such a lack of knowledge among students, what do you do if you have to face Clearing? It's time to get clued up and have your questions answered by an expert panel.

Join Christine Marchant, a clearing expert with ten years experience in recruiting students to university and student Jason Morrison online at TheClearingshow as they discuss the clearing process and what options are open to students…
