Sting sacked Pregnant Chef
Popstar Sting and his wife Trudie Styler have been ordered to pay their former chef £25,000 after they shamefully dismissed her whilst pregnant.
Mrs Martin had worked for the couple for 8 years before being unfairly dismissed. Mrs Martin had previously suffered a miscarriage and feared she would lose her baby from the stress of being forced from her job.
Mrs Martin claimed that once she announced she was pregnant Ms Styler set about being unpleasant to force her out.
The tribunal ordered compensation payments to Mrs Martin of £10,000 for injury to feelings and £16,000 for loss of earnings.
Ms Styler immediately lodged an appeal against the decision claiming the tribunal were biased against her.
