Ford Bank House is an impressive south facing, light and spacious modern property enjoying stunning views over Dartmouth, the river Dart and out to sea from most of the rooms and gardens.
In a picturesque rural setting just 1/2 mile from Malborough and 2 miles from Salcombe. The rugged South Devon coastline is just a short drive away with superb walks across to Bolberry Down close by.
Sitting Room
Affording the best views in the house is a smaller sitting room with comfortable sofa and chairs, coffee table and lamps, TV/DVD and fireplace.
Off the sitting room is an optional bunk room with chest of drawers ideally suited to young children who prefer to sleep close to parents in the master bedroom. (Please note that there is no window in this room and only children over 6 years are permitted to sleep in the top bunk).
Bedrooms
Six in total (* including bunk room above). The master bedroom is on the first floor with river views, super-king size bed (6'). The other four, two with super-king size beds and two with twin beds, are located on the ground floor.
Bathrooms
Three in total. On the first floor is a fully tiled bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, wash basin and w.c.. The other two can be found on the ground floor they are identically equipped with bath, wash basin and w.c.
Baby Friendly facilities include: cot, highchair, stairgate and plastic cutlery and crockery.
The Kitchen is Well equipped and spacious with stainless steel hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave oven.
The lounge has a large sofa, armchairs, flat screen TV, PS2 console/DVD, SkyHD (with movies and sports channels available in three rooms)
With the stunning beach at Blackpool Sands, recently voted 'the best beach for family fun' by Condé Nast Traveller, just 10 minutes
away by car, and the award-winning farm park Pennywell Farm, Woodlands Adventure Park,
Paignton Zoo, boat and steam train trips all nearby, the area is great for family holidays all year round, whatever the weather.
