Many parents are in this situation:the child is bigger enough to sleep alone but is still in their bedroom. When I was child my parents has the same dilemma and I had the same situation with my daughter. Let say is time for sleep and you announce the child that.Let him go in his room ,do not close the doors, let him try to put the pajamas or you can help him(make from that habit an funny one).Put his favorite toys near to him/her and let him/her choose witch one can sleep with. Now ...the little secret:the rhyming song. Say something like :"Let see what Anne do when she can sleep!". Make from that a goodnight song! The song you can find here:Ann Can't Sleep< Follow LinkAfter that repeat!Simple like Good Day! Every night begin with bed time song.Make your child to expect the night for bed time song. That is it folks! Tell me if you made any progress!
