The Parent Support Service
The Parent Support Service provides practical, professional guidance for common parenting concerns eg: difficulties with children's behaviour; eating & sleeping; fears and phobias. The service, run by a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, is Bristol-based and offers individually-tailored advice and support in the family home.
Parenting can be immensely rewarding and fun but it can also be very stressful and challenging. Many parents go through times when problems seem overwhelming and it feels hard to cope. This is perhaps not surprising when there is no training for such a difficult job. The Parent Support Service (PSS) offers a flexible and professional source of consultation and guidance. The service aims to reduce family stress by helping parents find practical solutions that fit their child's specific needs and their unique parenting style.
